Abstract

The rapid development of digital technologies has significantly expanded opportunities for improving speech development in children with hearing impairments. Modern multimodal educational environments combine visual, auditory, interactive, and adaptive learning tools to support speech perception, pronunciation, vocabulary acquisition, and communication skills. International experience demonstrates that assistive digital technologies contribute to more individualized and engaging learning processes; however, many existing solutions have been developed for widely spoken languages and educational contexts that differ from those of Uzbek- speaking learners. This creates a need for pedagogically grounded digital technologies adapted to the linguistic and educational characteristics of Uzbekistan. This paper analyzes contemporary multimodal digital technologies used in speech development for children with hearing impairments and presents the pedagogical concept of a multimodal software system designed to support speech correction and language development. The proposed approach integrates adaptive learning, multimodal content presentation, interactive exercises, speech monitoring, and learning analytics into a unified pedagogical framework. The study emphasizes the importance of combining assistive technologies with evidence-based pedagogical principles to improve the organization of speech development in special and inclusive education.
