THE IMPORTANCE OF THE TEACHER-DISCIPLE TRADITION IN THE SPIRITUAL SOCIALIZATION OF YOUTH

Abstract

This thesis examines the importance of the teacher-disciple tradition in the spiritual socialization of young people. It analyzes the role of mentorship in transmitting moral values, cultural experience, professional ethics, and social responsibility from one generation to another. The teacher-disciple relationship is interpreted not only as an educational method, but also as an important socio-spiritual mechanism that contributes to the formation of young people’s worldview, identity, ethical behavior, and sense of belonging to society. Particular attention is paid to the influence of teachers’ personal example, communication culture, and pedagogical guidance on the development of such qualities as respect, responsibility, patriotism, tolerance, and commitment to national and universal values. The thesis also highlights the relevance of adapting the traditional mentorship system to contemporary educational conditions in order to protect young people from ideological threats, strengthen their spiritual immunity, and ensure their active participation in social life.
