Abstract

This article examines economic diplomacy as an important instrument of Uzbekistan’s new foreign policy strategy. It analyzes the relationship between foreign policy priorities, trade expansion, foreign direct investment, transport connectivity, technological cooperation, and international financial partnerships. The study argues that Uzbekistan increasingly uses economic diplomacy not only to attract external resources but also to improve its position in regional and global economic networks. Particular attention is given to the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy, cooperation with Central Asian states, relations with China and the European Union, and the country’s efforts to diversify export markets and develop higher-value production.
