Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive overview of the communicative-pragmatic characteristics of political speech delivered by leaders. It also offers an explanation of pragmalinguistics. Pragmatic units found in the speech of leaders are illustrated through examples, and samples of political discourse are analyzed.
