ANALYSIS OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL-PEDAGOGICAL THEORY AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ MUSICAL MEMORY IN GENERAL PIANO PERFORMANCE

Abstract

This study is devoted to analyzing the psychological-pedagogical theory and methodological approaches to developing students' musical memory in general piano performance. The paper elucidates the psychological essence of musical memory, the interconnection of its auditory, motor, and logical types, as well as the role and functions of memory in piano performance. It also analyzes the theoretical foundations, pedagogical principles, and methodological techniques for developing musical memory. The findings of the study are aimed at providing practical recommendations to teachers on applying psychological- pedagogical approaches in the targeted development of students' musical memory.
