Abstract

This paper examines the phenomenon of determinologization of military-legal vocabulary in machine-generated texts. Particular attention is paid to semantic shifts that occur when specialized military and legal terms are reproduced, interpreted, or reformulated by artificial intelligence systems. The study focuses on cases in which terminological units partially lose their professional specificity, acquire broader or contextually inappropriate meanings, or are replaced by semantically simplified equivalents. The analysis demonstrates that such transformations may reduce the accuracy, unambiguity, and functional adequacy of military-legal discourse. The paper also identifies the main linguistic factors contributing to determinologization in machine- generated texts and emphasizes the importance of preserving terminological precision when using artificial intelligence in professional communication.
