Abstract

This article provides a scholarly and analytical study of the historical stages in the formation of sculpture in the territory of Uzbekistan. It also examines the sculptural traditions and stylistic transformations of the twentieth century and the period of independence. Through examples of archaeological findings, architectural monuments, and contemporary sculptural works, the development of national artistic thinking is revealed. The article highlights the role of historical, cultural, and social factors in the formation of the Uzbek school of sculpture. Special attention is given to the creative explorations of contemporary Uzbek sculptors and their connection with national traditions.
