DEVELOPING ARTISTIC AND CREATIVE COMPETENCE THROUGH THE INTEGRATION OF FINE ARTS AND POTTERY ART

Abstract

This article examines the issues of developing students’ artistic and creative competence through the integrated teaching of fine arts and pottery art. It analyzes the pedagogical significance of an integrative approach in art education, the interconnection between fine arts and pottery activities, and their role in shaping students’ creative thinking and aesthetic taste. In addition, the possibilities of enhancing students’ creative activity and fostering respect for national culture through the use of traditional pottery heritage are substantiated. The article is of methodological significance for teachers of general secondary schools and educational institutions specializing in art education.
