Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical mechanisms for fostering a culture of tolerance among students through the lens of an axiological approach, which emphasizes the integration of values into educational processes. The study highlights the essential role of value-oriented education in shaping students’ ethical consciousness, social responsibility, and intercultural competence. By systematically analyzing theoretical frameworks, empirical studies, and practical strategies, the article identifies key mechanisms that facilitate the development of tolerant attitudes and behaviors within academic environments. Special attention is given to the interplay between axiological principles and pedagogical practices, emphasizing the cultivation of critical thinking, empathy, and ethical decision-making as core components of tolerance education. The findings underscore the significance of structured pedagogical interventions in promoting sustainable tolerance culture, contributing to both individual moral growth and societal cohesion.
