Abstract

The article presents detailed information on the methodology of developing PISA-based international assessment test items in chemistry and their effective implementation in the educational process. It discusses the principles of constructing competency-oriented tasks aligned with the PISA framework, including real-life contextualization, assessment of scientific literacy, higher-order thinking skills, and data interpretation abilities. Furthermore, the article highlights practical approaches for integrating PISA-type questions into classroom instruction to enhance students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and application of chemical knowledge in real-world situations.
