Abstract

This article examines, from scientific-theoretical and practical perspectives, the issues of developing students’ independent creative thinking through the use of color, composition, and artistic image creation in the process of painting classes. The study analyzes the role of the discipline of painting in fostering the creative development of students’ personalities, the significance of color and composition in shaping artistic thinking, and the aesthetic and pedagogical characteristics of the artistic image creation process. Furthermore, the article reveals the possibilities of activating students’ independent thinking through innovative and creative approaches in painting instruction. It is substantiated that creating artistic images through color and compositional solutions, while considering students’ individual creative capabilities, contributes to the development of their aesthetic taste, emotional perception, and independent creative activity. The results of the study have practical significance for improving methodological approaches aimed at developing creative thinking in painting education.
