This article explores the ontological and mythopoetic dimensions of folklorism in the poetry of Matnazar Abdulhakim. The study examines how traditional folkloric structures, archetypal imagery, and ritual consciousness are transformed into modern poetic language and philosophical reflection. Unlike superficial thematic borrowing, folklorism in Abdulhakim’s works functions as a structural and semantic framework that shapes the perception of reality. Through mythological symbolism, cyclical temporality, and archetypal landscape imagery, the poet constructs a multilayered poetic universe grounded in cultural memory while addressing contemporary existential concerns. The analysis demonstrates that folkloric elements in his poetry operate as semiotic codes preserving collective identity and ethical continuity. By integrating mythic ontology with modern introspection, Abdulhakim revitalizes folklore as a living aesthetic and metaphysical system within contemporary literary discourse. The findings contribute to broader theoretical discussions on mythopoetics, cultural memory, and the role of tradition in shaping modern poetic identity.Downloads
