This international conference aims to critically engage with the evolving theoretical frameworks and analytical tools shaping the study of culture and aesthetics today. The gathering will foster a vibrant dialogue on how contemporary methodologies - from digital humanities and new materialisms to postcolonial and decolonial approaches - are reframing our understanding of artistic expression, sensory experience, and cultural production. Participants will explore the intersections of these methods, questioning established canons and proposing innovative ways to interpret the complex dynamics of the globalized and digitally-mediated world. The event aims to chart new territories for research by examining the very premises upon which we analyze and value cultural and aesthetic phenomena in the twenty-first century.
